Black America 250

A series of illustrations celebrating America's 250th birthday, made for the Because Of Them We Can social platform. This country's story was never told by just one voice, so the frame couldn't be either. Figures and moments from across eras share the same space, faces that never met, decades that never touched, now sitting together in one picture. Black history is American history, and it only felt right to put the people and moments that make us great front and center for the anniversary.
